Guy Mignault Prize

The Prix Guy Mignault aims to encourage the creation and development of French-language youth theatre projects in Canada. It supports a variety of initiatives such as writing, design, creative labs, residencies, or any other stage in the development of a project intended for young audiences.

Eligibility criteria

The prize is open to all artists, collectives, or companies working in French in Canada, with no age or regional restrictions. Projects may be in the planning, development, or production stages. 

A person who received a Foundation Prize in the previous year is not eligible. 
Candidates may submit only one project per Prize. 

This prize reflects the ATFC Foundation’s commitment to supporting French-language youth theatre and to perpetuating the legacy of Guy Mignault, an iconic figure in Franco-Canadian theatre.
